I have used a base station connected to an external hard drive for many years and this past year took advantage of a year Arlo Secure deal. It ended 2 days ago and now I just get a blank Feed, and under each camera it says "You've found a premium feature". I tried re-adding a camera and it found the base station during setup but the behavior is still the same.
Not to mention since this all happened some of my cameras have been notifying of motion continuously (sometimes 20 times straight) when there is none.
How do I reconfigure back to the old behavior so that videos are saved/read via the hub/ssd?

Lack of a subscription causes cloud recordings to cease but not local recordings. It appears you're using the new user interface (UI) that uses Feed for cloud recordings so you need to use the hub's settings to view local recordings under Storage Settings. If local recordings are properly set up, those recordings will be seen there, not in Feed.

I just made the mistake of downgrading to the 'new interface' as I stopped getting motion notifications. After this change, I am seeing this behavior as well now. I have no subscription, but local storage is setup, configured, and has been working fine for quite a while now.
If this response is correct and it is not simply related to the bug where paid subscribers also see this message, this may be the end of arlo for me.
I can not believe how anti-consumer this company has become. It started from the day I got my camera's second-hand (about 1 year old) from a friend who no longer needed them. When I reset the system, I lost key functionality that my friend used to have and that was advertised on the box!
