Hey Arlo community - just a PSA to you who are still lovers of ARLO.

My Pro4 camera was not working today so I went to my APP and it said it needed a firmware update. This took about 5+ minutes and afterwards it said it was "offline". No biggie right... this happens, so I did what I normally do and it wasn't working or going back online.  So I removed the device from the App and tried to get it back that way, I've done it before.

This is where I was starting to get worried... No LED lights were showing even when plugged in. Nothing.

I contacted Support and told them this and after a few back and fourths trying the same things I know that work they sent me an email deeming my Hardware defective.

My unit is only 573 day old, just over 1.5 years. COME ON REALLY?

oh.....and they offered me a slap in the face 30% off CODE on anything new.

Unless they come back to me with a replacement or a much better offer I'm moving from ARLO.

Beware everyone out there who have equipment that's over a 1year old and may require a firmware update.

And had a 12 month warranty.

I get that this is both annoying and disappointing, but generally you won't get a warranty replacement from anyone after the warranty is expired.
