I set up an automation to record a two minute video at 4:20 AM every day of the week. It does not work.
I was told by support that the recording must be triggered by motion to do this. I have no motion set in the routine.
Has anyone been able to do this?

You can't schedule a recording or snapshot like that. It has to occur due to motion or audio detection.

FWIW, it is possible to create an automation that triggers at a set time, and records a video. You do that from the "control a device" section on the "add actions" page.
It might be buggy/not work, but that is a different question.
