DO NOT BUY! Batteries quickly drain and Arlo customer service is unhelpful and hangs up on you and marks case as closed. This product is not reliable and will not help you monitor your home.

Can’t comment on the arlo support experience since I don’t have a subscription and so not entitled to have one.

Is the camera located in a high traffic area, if so this could explain why the battery is draining that fast.

Even if you have activity zones or smart notifications active the camera will still need to operate and record to the cloud so that the motion can be analysed by the AI in the cloud servers.

If this is likely the case then you should relocate or repoint the camera to minimise unwanted triggering, motion utility is also available in the camera settings page to help define the optimal sensitivity setting so you can set the value into the camera rule for the armed mode.
