Pro 4 Cameras connected to VBM 4540 hub - no videos in library

I had an Arlo doorbell.  I was told by Arlo support that if I had a hub, I would not need a subscription.  I purchased three pro 4 cameras and a hub.   I get notifications but no video to the library.   I do not want a cloud subscription.  Is it possible to access videos without a subscription?

Use the app (web client won't work) and go to the library. Near the top is a pulldown menu - choose your hub instead of Cloud.

Did you

  • connect the Pro 4 cameras and doorbell to the hub (instead of your home wifi)?
  • add USB storage to the hub (at least 16 GB)?
  • enable "direct access to local storage" in the app?

Cameras are connected to hub, with USB and direct access to local settings is on.
