Hoping the Arlo Community might be able to help.
Background:
I/T Tech Support all my life, use high performance laptop / network equipment, current software always kept up to date, etc.

1) Several years ago I bought / installed four Pro2 security cameras.
All 4 locations are within 25-35 feet of the base station.

Used them for a few years, no problems.

2) Then upgraded with four Pro3 cameras, installed in the same locations. Used them for a few years, no problems.

3) Then upgraded with four Pro4 cameras, installed in the same locations.

Have loud, annoying, audio static problems on all of them.

Uninstalled / reinstalled...no help.

Then set them up to run  off my WiFi instead of a base station...no help.

The only change that's occurred is removing solid performing Pro3 cameras and replacing them with new Pro4 cameras (with any / all Arlo updates).

( PS: two were so bad Amazon replaced them for me, and both replacements were noticeably better, although still not 100% correct ).

I see this Pro4 audio related problem has also been experienced / reported by others the Internet.

If anyone here in the 'community' has any actual first hand knowledge of the cause / fix for this Pro4 audio problem, I'd appreciate learning about it.
Thanks

11/17/23 -  Received this status update to my Arlo Support Case today:
...............................................................................................................................................
“Hello, m
y Name is ____ and am sending this Email on behalf of Arlo Support, regarding the Pro 4 camera static noise issue.  I have checked with my next-level team, I am really sorry to inform you that some of our other customers are facing the same issue and it has been escalated to our engineering team and our engineering team is working on this to solve this as soon as possible. Please do not worry. Once the issue is fixed. We will update you via email”.

.................................................................................................................................................

FWIW, I replied to update the case...thanking them for their honesty...that my detailed troubleshooting had proven beyond doubt it had to be a Pro4 camera problem.

PS:

I'm going to let it sit for a couple days now...then followup to my case# again, asking what the target fix projection is...ie: a Day?...a Week?...a Month?.....and see what they say.
