Please allow cvr to a hub

I bought a hub for my arlo pro 4 cameras and I was really disappointed that you can’t just do the continuous video recording straight to the hub to be saved. I don’t see why it isn’t even an option. The push for subscriptions is getting out of hand. I paid $800 for the cameras. I can borderline understand the subscription for the cloud for the regular recordings but to ask so much more for cvr seems criminal. 
Please stop milking us and give us features that represent the premium we have already paid.
