Picture In Picture on Samsung Smart TV

I have Arlo Pro 4 Cameras and wired doorbell, with arlo secure with feed app for 3 cameras -

Live View appears (sometimes) on my Samsung Smart TV in the small Picture-in-Picture window.

When motion is detected it has appeared in the small Picture in Picture popup window a few times, and disappeared after maybe 10 seconds.   

 

It seemed to work sometimes after I had either setup the cameras in smartthings, or... after I setup cameras in my Alexa App.  I've tried both or just one or the other.   

 

I have no clue as to why, or how to make a camera show in the small picture in picture when motion is detected.   I just know it has come up a few times in the small picture and then stopped coming up at all.   

 

I can setup a motion detection routine in the Alexa App on Iphone that works for full screen.... but not for the small 'Picture in Picture' popup view.  (some call it multi-view)

 

I have tried everything i can think of... Deleting and re-installing cameras in everything and linking and unlinking with smartthings app, alexa app, and the arlo secure app with feed for 3 cameras.

Does this affect all your devices on your Smart Things integrated account?

All devices are affected.

Last week I 'logged off' of integrated smartthings' on my TV to try some Alexa App routines on my Iphone.

 

I did figure out a few things by making Alexa Routines on my Iphone. 

Inserting a 'comma' between pip and minimized made the view show, then minimize, then go away on my TV.  

 

I made this test routine for 'front cam detects motion'

 

Added the following 3 actions -

Show front cam in pip, minimized

Wait 10 seconds

dismiss pip

 

choose Hear Alexa from

Fire TV Cube gen 2

 

Somehow this was happening with smartthings but haven't figured out how to do that yet. 

This Alexa routine works when I am watching YouTube TV thru my Fire TV Cube gen 2 on HDMI 1, and that has something to do with it also.

Also Alexa is a connected account in the Arlo secure app.
