If your talking about a password to a base unit...

There is no password to any base unit.  This is for security reason and it is not a full router.

it is the SSID password. whatever password you use to connect your laptop / tablet to your wifi.

If you're referring to connecting an Arlo device (you seem to have a Pro 4), it's the same password that you use for any other device to connect to your WiFi. Maybe some details about the issue would be useful.
