My 3 year old Arlo 4 went off line with a low temperature message. Despite working all winter with temperatures as low as 5 degrees F, it quit on a night that only went down to 30 degrees. Support had me check my internet connection (~75 MBS upload and download), check the battery charge (96%), resetting the camera with the sync button, removing and reinstalling the camera, and a jost of other things. I did get the camera on line, but it quit overnight (low temperature of 46 F). I tried support again and they were pretty clueless, asking me about the battery again (they did not know how to test the battery with a multimeter--I do--it is fine), repeating the reset ideas etc. Finally one of their technicians (probably the 4th or 5th I'd dealt with) wanted me to send them a picture of my camera to make sure that I had not damaged or misassembled it. I explained that a picture of my device would look exactly the same as a picture in their advertisements but the guy kept insisting so I ended the technical support. After spending about 7 or 8 hours total trying unsuccessfully to fix a $100 camera, I gave up and got a new one. The old one will become a dummy camera to further deter ne'er-do-wells....
