Ever since the new update my system has been a mess. I cannot figure out how to set up these cameras. I had no issues before with the previous version. I have 4 cameras outside my house and all I want each of them to do is record movement from 10pm til 0630 , 7 days a week. Sounds simple right ? Well not for me. If anyone has a moment I would appreciate a step by step procedure on how to set that up.

Thank you in advance !

You need two schedule automations:

  • One to switch the mode to "Standby" at 6:30 am
  • One to switch the mode to "Arm Home" at 10 pm

Both should be enabled in Arm Home and Standby modes, but not enabled in Arm Away.

You can use these screenshots as a guide (though the times are sunrise and sunset, so slightly different from what you want).

Sunrise.jpeg

Once these are created, you need to manually switch the mode (to either Arm Home or Standby) on the dashboard screen.

If you go away and want to arm the cameras 24x7 until you return, you just manually switch the mode to "Arm Away" when you leave, and switch it back to Arm Home or Standby when you return.
