How to put Battery to the camera? Can't find anything to open the camera

Just bought the Arlo P4 XL security camera, but cannot put the battery to the camera.  There's nowhere to open to insert the battery.

Getting the camera all the way out of the shell can be tricky due to the O-ring friction - often requires some shaking.  I find pressing/releasing the button, then pulling it out a bit, then pressing/releasing again works.  Others have different tricks they use.
