Does anyone else hate the new Arlo app updates? I’m thinking we may have to switch to ring cameras so that we can set them up the way we want to. And Arlo will not give us any live support. They just keep getting giving us old videos of the old app. Can anyone help?

Can you provide more detail regarding the symptom you are experiencing and I'll do my best to assist.
We were able to set up a schedule but would like to record all animals, people, packages, and vehicles but ONLY be notified when people, vehicles, packages are detected. This was how we used to have it set up so we were not constantly getting notifications on our phones with every squirrel that ran across our yard. How can we set that up with the new app interface?

What subscription do you have?
Yes mine sucks too since the update my iPad feed won’t work.wont load, just to previous day, only loads 2 or 3 pics. It sucks I’ve contacted support and no help,

I’m not sure the name if the plan. I know we pay $12 a month. Do we have to now pay more so we can maintain our set up? If so, how much more per month? I’m not sure it is with it given how difficult it is to get support.
I'm not seeing a subscription tied to your account, does the subscription appear within your Arlo app?

You should be able to see the plan the subscription area of my.arlo.com.
The current US ones are only Arlo Plus and Arlo Premium. Both of those include smart detection - where you can set it up so that you can not be notified for animals, but still record them.
You might have Arlo Basic (the price sounds correct). They aren't offering that in the US now (no idea why), but they still are in other countries. Filtered alerts let you block notifications for animals. I believe if you do that, you should still get recordings of animals, but they would be classified as "motion". But I don't have that plan, so I could be wrong on that. You might try disabling "person" and then walking in front of the camera to trigger it. Then see what you get.
