Hi everyone. While we were away for a few days we tried to turn the cameras on to stay on full time. They were automatically defaulting to follow my schedule. On the old app I could arm the cameras and they would stay on till I set it back to it's routine. Can anyone help with this so that I don't have to delete the routine while away. Thanks everyone.

This link may help with what you are wanting to do with the routines

Let me know if you have any questions.

Likely you set up the enable lists at the top of the schedule automations incorrectly.  Can you post screenshots?

The quick answer is "sorry no, but you can no longer do that" --- something ARLO's people will avoid answering directly.

What I understand is, while you have been able to enable/disable individual camera(s) (for special occasions like while you are away) in the old app, this is NOT possible in the new app, due to the new user experience design.  Camera behaviours can only be decided, grouped and classifed under 3 scenarios (STANDBY, HOME, AWAY), and you can't say "let me just turn ON this camera while still STANDBY".

Hope this helps.

While I agree that individual camera control is a problem,  @LRJJE4 wasn't asking about that.  At that this point we don't know how many modes are needed to support the schedule (which is working properly when home).  The schedule can be disabled when you are away in almost all cases.  The only scenario when you can't easily disable the schedule manually is when you don't have a mode that arms all cameras.

If only two modes are needed for scheduling (standby and one other), then this problem is usually caused by a misconfigured enable list.  Scheduling "Arm Home" and "Standby", while reserving "Arm Away" for when you are actually away is IMO the most intuitive approach here.

In cases when you do need all three modes to support the schedule, you can still temporarily disable it by going into the mode that arms all cameras, and disabling the schedule automations in that mode.  Then put the system in that mode.  Reenable those automations when you return.
