We just switched from AT&T to Spectrum for internet.  When this happen our camera did and will not connect to the spectrum router.  Yesterday I purchase a NetGear AC 1900 and it still will not connect.

I can see the camera on the NetGear app connected to the 2.4 guest network but it still is not functional.

Does Arlo recommend a specific router?

If you have the guest network set for network isolation, then you need to change that setting.  Also, you will need to connect your phone to the guest network for onboarding.

Sorry but I do not understand what network isolation is,  and I do not see that option on the Netgear app?

Thanks.  Look over pages 78-80 here: https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/R7000/R7000_UM.pdf

Make sure Allow guests to see each other and access my local network is checked.

Also, make sure the wifi security is set to WPA2-PSK [AES].
