Can't get geo Fencing to work in this updated app. Have `12 cameras and geo fencing was working fine for the past 4 years before this app update. I have gone into my account on the web and deleting all meaningless "people" in the specific people section of both the arrive and leave automations, just leaving my iphone (MBX5) as the only "person". I have then gone into the Arlo app on my iphone and tried using both the when everyone arrives/leaves settings and the specific people arrive/leave settings and can't get geo fencing to work. When I leave home with the mode as "home" and drive away for the day, the mode doesn't  change to "away". If I manually change the mode to away and then come home, the mode doesn't change to home. I have location settings for the Arlo app set to always and precise location in my iphone's settings. I also have an iPad with the Arlo app installed and have location services off in the Arlo app to ensure the system isn't confused by the iPad being at home but the iPhone being away.

Don't understand why geo fencing is so hard to do now when in the old app it worked perfectly and was very easy to setup.

Any ideas as to what I need to do are very much appreciated.

GF is different in that you need to create separate Leave and Arrive automations. Try following the FAQ:

Byu default, the current method starts with an Arrive setup but if you click on Anyone Arrives you can select one of the People Leave options to actually create the Leave one. I agree that's not intuitive.

Guess I wasn't clear in my original post but I do have separate arrive and leave automations. Have followed the Arlo directions on automations to no avail. When I test the automations the tests work for both. Not sure what the problem is.

Check the phone settings for the app to verify that location services are set to always be allowed. What phone and OS version do you have?
