I've got an Arlo doorbell and Pro3. The Pro3 was out of range where I needed to put it so I've bought Google Nest wifi mesh which gives great range coverage where I need the Pro3 to be.
However, the Pro3 is not discoverable when I change its network to the new Nest wifi. I'm aware this is an issue that Nest combines 2.4 and 5 WiFi into a single SSID and there is no way of splitting them. I've also tried on my Android phone and iPhone to see if I can select 2.4 only but not possible. I've walked to the edge of range to see if it switches to 2.4 (on my mobile) and it does momentarily, but still does not discover. I've switched off all the mesh points apart from the base, but that doesn't help.
I'm at a loss, can anyone help?? This seems like a crazy situation given many people must have both Arlo and Google WiFi.
Help!

The Pro 3 requires a base station, it cannot connect to your home wifi.  Are you sure this isn't a Pro 4?  Or perhaps the Pro 3 floodlight?

You can find the camera model (starts with VMC) if you open the camera shell and remove the battery.

That's also true with my Orbi mesh, though I have been able to onboard anyway.  Arlo needs better mechanisms for onboarding.

Have you tried "add device" from a PC (browse to my.arlo.com)?  Ideally connect the PC to the Nest with wired ethernet.

Sorry folks it is a Pro 4 not Pro 3 I have. The issue is correctly described, I just wrote the product name incorrectly.
