I can’t get the new app. An uninstall and reinstall isn’t working. I don’t have the option to “upgrade”. Please help.

The current app supports 2 user interfaces (UI) - the old one that uses Library to view recordings and the new one that uses Feed. You now have the latest app with your reinstall but apparently still have the old UI. Is that true? Why are you wanting to change to the new UI?
If you really want to use the new UI, choose to install a Pro 5, security system or any Gen. 2 Essential cameras, even though you don't have one. The first step is to migrate your account to the new UI after which you can back out of the bogus install. Note that it's totally new with different names in different places, custom modes don't transfer and you'll need to verify any/all modes for rules and proper settings.
