Bought Arlo Pro 4 from best buy. Get it home and no base station. Is the Base Station an option?

The camera can connect directly to your home wifi.

 

You can still get a smarthub if you like. I'd suggest either the VMB4540 or the VMB5000 if you want to do that.

 

Note some Arlo bundles do include cameras + smarthubs.
