Just curious why these are not as popular or more popular than the standard Pro 4?

 

The price is about the same or cheaper when on sale and the battery life is much better.

 

I read that some people have had issues with the mounts not being strong enough for the heavier camera but overall the Costco website shows good reviews.

 

Not much reviews either online about it other than the customer reviews from the Costco website.

FWIW, I like having the larger battery. 

 

I also haven't had any issues with the screw mount (the magnetic one won't work at all, as there is no metal in the back of the XL shell).
