I have 4 Arlo's and the newest is the Arlo Pro 4. The others work fine but the 4 will not let me select the record button when motion is detected without a subscription. I was under the understanding that was not the case. Is there a work around?

Without a sub, the Pro 4 must be connected to a base or hub for local recordings. Not all bases support local recordings and the VMB4000 and 4500 bases require ejecting the drive to view the recordings. Only the VMB4540 and 5000 support using the app to directly view them.
