I was testing my Arlo Pro 4 in a darkened room. When I moved my hand in front of the camera, two red lights lit up. The red lights are not mentioned in the user manual. Are the red lights typical when the camera detects motion? Is there a way to keep them from turning on and still detect motion?

This is not about motion detection. When night vision is enabled, the camera automatically turns on infrared (IR) LEDs to record using IR in low-light conditions. While you can turn off night vision, if you do that you will need to turn on the spotlight and low-light color instead.
