Hey there, I have a mix of essential and Pro 3 cameras, and just lately I'll get a notification and I can see the picture preview, but once I try to watch the video its just white. Also on one of my cameras its all pixeled, but am assuming this is a connection issue as its away from the house (this I am working on). But the others are well within reach and have full signal. Any ideas??
I should mention that we on occasion have power offs, and the base unit doesn't seem to like this at all and I have to reinstall the cameras onto the app ... could this be contributing to this?

You could try removing the camera from your account, doing a hardware reset, and then adding it back.
You do the hardware reset by
- opening the camera housing
- pressing the sync button until the camera LED flashes amber (~15 sec).

One option is to get a UPS (uninteruptable power supply), and connect the base station to that. If you also connect it to your router (and modem if you have one) then your internet will stay up during a power failure.
Of course the UPS battery won't last forever, but it can get you through short outages. It also acts as a surge protector, which is useful because outages often include a power surge.

Thanks for the reply 🙂
I have reset the cameras, actually a couple of times. I've reset the base unit and even rebooted my phone. But appears to still do it. It is sporadic and not constant .. so even stranger!
I will definitely look into the idea of bridging the gap when we have the cuts, thank you for the hot tip.
