Pairing New smarthub for Arlo Pro 3

Can I pair the Ultra to the new smarthub from pro 3 for a better connection.

To connect your Arlo SmartHub or Base Station to the Internet and add it to your Arlo system: Launch the Arlo Secure app. Tap Add New Device. Tap Base Station/Hub. Connect the SmartHub or Base Station to your Wi-Fi router using an Ethernet cable.

You can pair it with the VMB4540 (as well as the VMB5000 and some other bases).  But you won't get a better connection, unless you are thinking you will locate the VMB4540 closer the to the camera.
