Overview on phone (iPhone)

With "local storage" enabled - why is the overview screen (devices) on my phone not showing the last occurrence. It shows a one day old recording. I would like it to auto refresh so it was always the latest clip. When I go into recordings I´m of course able to retrieve the latest.

If you live stream the camera, does the image update?

Yes - no probs in live streaming.

And sometimes the image IS the current - but often an old (>12 hours) image on the overview. Can´t tell when this happens (?) could maybe be the phone. iPhoneX newest update and Arlo sw also up to date.

I have same issue since about Jan 5th oddly. App/webpage image is not updating "from motion" recordings or ifttt triggers on both my Arlo Pro 3 cameras, but Pro 3 Floodlight working perfectly.
I added ifttt in attempt to get the image to refresh when it stopped.

Only running live view will update the image, or it will also update once on the first motion when you take the battery out then back in.

I have done all I can now over a few weeks, removed all devices, renamed, power cycled, battery removal, deleted days of cloud videos, I also moved the camera to a 2nd base station I have at my grandmother's house and no change.

I have finally come to the conclusion it's something on the server, bad data in my account linked to those cameras. The reason for this is that at as a final test I created a totally new arlo account and put my base and camera on it and image update worked perfectly!
I put the devices back on my actual account and the issue is sill there.

I found a help topic about an Arlo Privacy Center where you should be able to erase devices and see account links like ifttt, but it's not showing on the website for me, it says regional availability, seems odd it's not there for europe/uk.

I am the point of needing human tech support now, the auto support chat bot.....dislikes my issue, and keeps saying sorry 😀.

This is also the case on Arlo Ultra on Android. 

 

@JamesC You guys need to start testing firmware/software releases. If problems were occasional, I could understand. But with every release, there's something new broken/not working. It never ends. I refuse to waste more of my precious time adding, removing cameras, figuring out what's wrong, trailing the Internet/this forum for answers, power-cycling my system.
