Motion detection does not work on silver cars

I have an Arlo pro3 set up to record the parking lot, silver cars almost never trip the motion sensor even when its less then 10 ft away but will pick up other cars 50 away reliably

Cars are not the design object for these cameras. You're probably picking up IR signatures from cars' engines or reflected sun's IR. That's a crap shoot as to how/when it will work since it's outside of the design specs. You can subscribe to CVR for an AC powered camera if that's what you must capture.

The pro 3 is connected to AC power and has CVR.

the camera reliability picks up cars and trucks of other colors and correctly identify them as veichle, but on silver veichles the motion sensor rarely trips

I'm recording a small parking lot just outside my apartment window, camera is aimed square at my car 10ft away with spaces to the left and right. It reliability picks up and identify people, animals and veichles. Just not silver ones.
