How to view library clips longer?

I see 20-30 second clips in my library on the Arlo app. Is there a way to view before or after to 20 second clip to see what occurred before or after? I have a 22 second clip in my library with a man on my Front porch walking away towards the street but the camera didn’t catch him walking up towards the porch? I’d like to rewind a bit more to see his face. Is this possible?

No...

The cameras trigger on motion and record for a set of time ( depnds on yr settings; "till motion stops" or "fixed" ).

If you have the CVR option they record 24/7 which may help.

I usu use a Fixed time and may be your sense level needs to be turned up to capture sooner... remember that max distance is 25ft +/- for detection

Seems like it should have picked up the guy stepping onto the porch or started recording as soon as he got within 25 feet of the camera on the porch. It’s like it didn’t kick on til his back was to the camera leaving.
Thank you for your reply. So far I’m not too impressed with these cameras.
I guess I’ll look up how to change it to a fixed time.

Read the FAQs here in the support section as to how to change recording time and motion sensitivity as well as best camera positioning (along with a whole slew of other topics). Recording starting when the subject is departing isn't a recording duration issue, it's a positioning one.

PIR detectors work best when motion is across the FOV, not at the camera. Increasing sensitivity can also be useful. Post a screenshot of the camera view for suggestions.
