Delay - Arlo app vs Apple Home

I’ve just set up the Apple Home app on my iPhone to show my Arlo camera feeds. Does any one know why I always have a delay of up to 10 seconds on the Arlo app video feed, but the Apple Home App feed it’s always perfectly in sync?

This is normal behavior. A slight delay is expected when connecting to your cameras due to the connection with the Arlo cloud. This delay should be less than 10 seconds like you're describing.

Yes, I’d thought that was the case. I was just intrigued why it was always out of sync in the Arlo app, but reliably ‘in sync’ when viewing the camera feed through the Apple Home app. I assumed the Apple app is pulling the feed from the Arlo cloud too.
