I took one of my 2 Arlo base systems offline since I sold that property. Now the second system is no longer recording and storing video for the 7 days. This base system is the newer system. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get it to start saving the video it captures for the seven days as it used to?

What is the subscription status for the cameras?
You need a subscription plan for camera models later than pro2 to record to the cloud.

So, maybe my misunderstanding and time could be a coincidence but doesn’t Arlo keep vids for 7 days for free then they are deleted? That is what I’ve been doing with my older Arlo 3 system for the past 3 years. Did I misunderstand?

The 7days free arlo cloud storage feature ended after the pro2 model cameras.
They introduced the subscription requirement with the ultra and later model cameras back in 2018, so a pro3 would have required a subscription plan to record to the arlo cloud.
They then implemented local access to recordings to the base stations 4540 & 5000 sometime after that but with limitations.
So to clarify the pro2 shows up in the cloud library, the pro3 do not unless you have subscription.
If you have the later Base station and had local storage setup you get access to those recordings instead of the arlo cloud library.
Question would be why it has now stopped, end of a special trial offer ?

Thank you. I didn’t realize. Just strange timing I guess.

In hindsight it would have been cheaper to keep the pro2 cameras.
Are you using a base station with the pro3 camera? If you’re using one of the models mentioned previously you could setup local storage access.
