Hello
New member of the forum! Our shed was broken into last week and bikes were stolen, despite it being linked to a monitored alarm. I have had my eye on Arlo for a while so as is often the case, have now got them after the time I needed them 🙂
Very easy to set up and configure although did rely on some forum posts to work my way through the settings.
I am pretty disappointed though that the siren is only linked to the IR movement sensor and does not use the smart notification criteria. Last night it went off twice (didnt even record anything or show a reason). Would be ideal to activate the siren if a person is detected. As it stands currently I will have to disable it as I can't deal with me/neighbours being woken up due to a cat!
I guess one solution would be to buy another camera (having already spent £500+) and point it directly at the entrance gate and have that activate the siren.
Is this a potential feature in future?
