Good morning.
We have a VMB4000r3 base with three Pro 2 (H3) cameras connected. When armed they record camera footage to the local hard drive that is plugged into the base, we can view back the detected footage using the Arlo App on our phones using the Apps Feed.
We also have a Pro 3 (H11) camera with solar charging connected, this also notifies us of motion like the other cameras do, but the recordings are NOT available to play back via the app, we have to disconnect the drive and view the footage separately on the PC instead, which is of no use when away from the house.
Why can we view the Pro 2 camera footage using the App's Feed, but not the Pro 3 camera? Footage does not appear on the list in the Feed, like the other cameras, yet they all record to the same local drive. They are all set up exactly the same.
All firmware is up to date
Base - 1.28.2.0_4739_53ee4a5
Pro 3 - 1.080.16.0_5_979b2d8

Well, no. The VMB4000 supports local recording, but not playback. The only way to see the local recordings is to eject the storage from the app, and then attach it to a PC for viewing (as you are already doing for the Pro 3).
The recordings you are seeing in the Feed are stored in the Arlo Cloud, so are not local. The Pro 2 cameras were sold with free 7-day cloud storage.

Arlo stopped including free cloud storage for new camera models back in 2018, starting with the Ultra. The Pro 3 was launched after that, so that is a subscription feature for that camera.
The smarthubs (VMB4540 and VMB5000) do support playback, so one path is to purchase a smarthub for your Pro 3 (leaving the Pro 2 cameras connected to the VMB4000). But the user experience isn't the best, so I suggest posting back if you are considering that approach.

I understand thanks. For now I will just stick with the older Pro 2's that I have, they do the job just fine.
