I purchased Arlo pro 3 ( two cameras and door bell) and before my free plan expired I purchased the Smart plan. After I purchased the plan I realized that I was paying during the free trial period. When I called and asked that they start charging me after the free trial expired, the rep told me that's the way it is and couldn't change it.
I think that is a poor way to treat a customer.
Please be aware they don't to work with you!

Tmill,
When you first set up your Arlo Pro 3 cameras, trial plans will automatically be associated with each camera after you finish setup. These trial plans provide Arlo Smart service, you will not need to purchase a subscription plan until the trial expires.
You can find information about your trial or paid subscription plans by navigating to Settings > Subscription

I got done the same way, they send you stuff wanting you to sign up and when you do you get taken advantage of. Just bad business practice's.
