Arlo Pro 3 Low battery notifications

VMB4540 is my smarthub. The last time I had a low battery and notification in my email or my push app was in September of last year and has been quiet since then. I don't know if there was an update or I just got knocked out. Is anyone in a similar boat? I have been REPEATEDLY contacting Arlo with little help, they just walk me in circles, repeating the same scripted reply. I need those notifications so I can get up and charge my cameras before they die otherwise we end up in this situation. In which my cameras have been dead since August 2nd. I don't know why it stopped working and it's frustrating.

While the notifications should be happening, you can always use the app or web client to check levels. Just monitoring the thumbnails in Devices would show a red battery icon when below 25%.

Which devices are you missing the low battery alert for? Have you checked your spam folder to see if any emails are making their way in.

It's for the two Arlo Pro 3, recently I just got one for the floodlight version, but nothing for these others.

I only find out when they are dead.

 

Nothing in my spam folder, and I don't have any options in my notifications settings to enable/disable these notifications

The team would like to look in to the reports related to low battery alerts. If possible, can you please help us by gathering the following details:

 

  • Screenshots showing when your Floodlight camera is receiving low battery alerts.
  • The timestamp when your Pro 3 camera shows a low battery status but you did not receive a low battery email alert.

Please also PM me with the serial number of the affected devices.

Your input will help us better understand the behavior and speed up the investigation.

The attached photos are the two cameras, with one already dead and the other one is dying and I have yet to get any notifications on them. And is not good because I'm not constantly on top of checking camera battery levels.

Can you provide the email screenshot you received for the floodlight?
