I have an Arlo Pro 3 - (2 camera system)

I have set a "Schedule" on the [Mode] Option to record on movement between 7:pm amd 8:00am.

During the day, the cafe and street is busy and we don't want recording on the "Outside:" camera.

This is good for the "Outside" Camera, is working well and seems to capture and record on motion during the night. No problem.

Another camera "Inside" the cafe is subscribed to Constant Video Recording (CVR) as we want constant surveillence of customers and staff 24/7

The CVR seems to work well and I am happy with operation.

However, I want to stop the inside camera from recording clips when it detects movement at night (when the Schedule is active) as I already have CVR and I want the "Library" to just display the clips from the "Outside" camera.

I have set the "Inside" Camera using [Device Utilities\Motion Detection Test] Sensitivity Slider Control to 1 to reduce the sensitivity but the Camera is still detecting Vehicle Head Lights on the road oustside (30 metres away) during the night and is constantly recording clips which are not required.

There is no motion in the cafe because it is vacant, it seems to be the light flashes from the cars that trigger it.

How can I "Disable" the Motion Detection completely for this camera  and stop the recording of clips?

Is it true that you can only have 1 Schedule that applys to all cameras paired with the Smart Hub?

Multiple schedules that could be assigned to a single or "group" of cameras would solve this problem.

Appreciate any ideas how I can fix this issue.

 Many Thanks, Colin

Your advice gave me the clue I needed and after some experimentation and perseverance I think I have managed to Disable recording on the "Inside" camera.

I have to say some of the Arlo settings are buried and convoluted and in places that as a tech person I would never have thought to look for them. I think the Arlo Documentation is poor and structure of settings is not intuitive.

Another frustrating thing (and as far as I'm concerned is a bug), is setting the rules for a camera.

If you select "Do Nothing" (on Motion detection) which is exactly what I wanted for the "Inside Cafe" camera (the one subscribed to CVR).

I would expect "No Action" of any type on "Motion detection" (whatever the sensitivity setting).

So why are you forced to select either [Notification] or [email] before you can [Save] a rule that is defined to "Do Nothing" .

If you don't select one of the above options, the [Save] button is grayed out.

It makes no sense!

So I had to select [email] enter a non-existent email address and rely on the Low (1) sensitivity setting not to send an email.

Do "Nothing" should mean just that and "Notifications" should be included in that setting.

Anyway, thanks for your help TomMac, much appreciated.

The problem is SENSE level is NOT adjusted in the motion test area... that is for testing to see if it triggers for motion

The SENSE level needs to be set in the MODE you are arming with ( the mode you put in schedule ) You may need to make a custom mode for the night time( lowered sense level) for that camera, then use that one with the regular one in day
