Arlo Pro 3 2 way voice communication.

Does the 2 way voice communication work like a 2 way radio like the Arlo Pro 2 in which only one side can talk at a time, is it an open mic that is a continuous communication? With my Arlo Pro 2 I can have difficulty communicating due to having to stop my transmission.
