I have recently added the arlo 3 to my collection of arlo 2. My problem is with the sensor light. They work perfectly , when motion detected they turn on for a short time , but if the camera is plugged in with AC they dont work anymore.
Now that i added ctv option to the camera , i have to have it plugged in but now i lost the lights. Is this a common problem . did anybody have this problem before ?

Do you mean the spotlight?
If so, I don't use CVR, but I do have one Pro 3 camera that is powered. The spotlight works fine.
You should probably begin by making sure the spotlight is turned on in the low-light camera settings. If it is, then perhaps try support: https://www.arlo.com/en-us/support/contact.aspx

Yes the spotlight , when motion detected it turns on the light.
I have the option turned on , on works if its not plugged in. If its only on baterry then it works without any problems.
But if i plug it in it doenst work anymore

Mine definitely works when plugged in (only at night of course).
If yours is behaving differently, then maybe try removing/reinserting the battery (with no power applied). If that doesn't help, then you should probably contact support: https://www.arlo.com/en-us/support/contact.aspx
