Hello everyone,

 

I’m having an issue with my Arlo camera system and I need some help.

 

I have a new VMB5000 base station with Arlo Pro 2, Pro 3, and Pro 4 cameras. I completely reinstalled all my cameras, but I still can’t set up my activity zones because the snapshot is not updating.

 

I’ve already tried several solutions: uninstalling and reinstalling the app, removing the camera and adding it back, rotating the image 180 degrees, redoing the setup, etc. Basically, I’ve tried pretty much everything I could find online, but nothing works: the snapshot never updates.

 

Right now, my cameras are generating hundreds of useless videos per day, probably because the activity zones are not configured properly.

 

Has anyone experienced this issue with a VMB5000 Arlo base station, or does anyone have a possible solution, especially with Arlo Pro 2, Pro 3, or Pro 4 cameras?

Have you tried setting the zones using a computer browser (my.arlo.com)?

Yes, unfortunately it still doesn’t work. 😞

@Pat1978 I only see Pro 3 on the account. I am not seeing the other cameras that you mentioned. We are aware of the activity zones not working as expected on the Pro 3. Let me reach out to the development team and they can get those moved to the field trial.

Yes, you are currently only seeing Arlo Pro 3 cameras in the account because I received my new base station yesterday, and I am in the process of completely rebuilding my system configuration.

 

I also have Arlo Pro 2 and Arlo Pro 4 cameras that I still need to reinstall and add to the system.
