I am not sure how to attach a picture to show what I am seeing. One camera works great, awesome colors but the other which is an identical camera has a much different picture and I am not sure why. The picture reminds me of something taken in the very bright sun, sort of washed out. The grass which should be green looks more like dirty snow.  I have tried to look at the settings on both to match them up and it seems like they are, but I must be missing something. Any clues or help will be much appreciated.

thank you....Mike

The cameras are both the pro3 floodlight camera and I have updated to the latest firmware on both.

You can attach screenshots by using either the little camera icon above the text box or the "Drag and drop or browse" box under it.

It sounds like the second camera is in night mode which is in black and white. Swap cameras around to see what happens. My suspicion is that the location of the one providing B&W images is in a low light area. You may be able to move the camera for a better image but it may just need more light.

I appreciate the reply, thank you.

Both cameras are in the same light in my back yard. They are just mounted on different corners.

I see the attach video icon above but don't see anything for just an image. I scrolled over everything above to read the tag description but so far nothing for a still image. The split image I am trying to attach is from the same daylight at the exact same time. I don't have night mode enabled but I will double check.

Removing the battery for 10 seconds or so, and then reinserting it will reboot the camera.  If you haven't tried that, then I suggest doing that next.

There is a brightness control in the video settings that you could try - reducing brightness on the camera that looks washed out.

You might also try swapping the cameras, and see if the problem stays with the camera (likely) or if it stays with the location.

There are two ways to attach a still image:

attachments.png

The one above the text box embeds the image in the post (and won't be visible until a mod approves it).  The one underneath attaches it, so it needs to be clicked on to view it.

The format has to be either png or jpg.  If the file extension is jpeg, you need to change it to jpg.

You can also put the image into cloud storage (google drive, drop box, etc), and put a link into your post.
