Will Pro 3 keep working with outdoor cable but no power

I’ve got the Pro 3 Floodlight and I’m thinking about getting the outdoor cable so I don’t have to take the battery out and recharge it all the time. But the outlet that I would plug it into is the one that out Christmas lights are plugged into in December - meaning the outlet would be off all day except for maybe 6pm to midnight.
So what I’m wondering is if the Pro 3 will still keep working off the battery while it is plugged into an outlet that is turned off?

Or will it stop working while there is no power to that outlet?
