I have been on 3 chats today with 3 different people at Arlo and have no clue how to fix my dilemma.

My camera won't record because of no AC, but I can't use AC since there is no plug anywhere near the camera. I was told I could use a power strip - Really! That needs an outlet too!!  I was also told I need a subscription, but even though I have an account, it doesn't recognize me so I can't get a subscription.  Worse customer service ever!!

Assuming you trial expired the AC error is from your trial expiring as you need AC for Activity Zones if no Subscription. The lack of cloud recordings is also from the trial expiring. When you try to sign up for a plan via the Web portal when logged in what happens? There have been other post about problems with signing up for a plan but can't tell if thy are related to yours.

I can log into my Arlo account, but when I try to buy a subscription it requires me to log in again. Then it says it doesn't recognize my device. Tried on phone and desktop.

Can you post a screen shot of that point for someone to help. As far as I know you can only subscribe on the Web Portal under settings then select subscription if that is where you get the problem.
