I have the Arlo Pro 3 floodlight with firmware edition 1.080.26.3_37_a1b5020 , not sure if this is the latest - but once armed, my floodlight goes on and off every few seconds for the entire night. I've tried removing the battery and turning off and on, nothing fixes it. Any suggestions on what will fix this?

Is it just turning on the light, or is it also making recordings?

If the latter, are you seeing excessive recordings during the day?

Are you using activity zones?  I mention this because they will supress recordings and notifications, however the floodlight will turn on when the camera detects motion, even if the motion is out of the zone.

I no longer have the recording option as I don't pay a monthly subscription fee. So all I am aware of is that it keeps going off and on all night long (this issue has been going on for about the past month, I've had the camera about a year now). I do have and always had an activity zone set up.

Are you getting notifications when the light turns on?

Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity of the dawn to dusk sensor?

HI! Yes, I do get the notification each time it comes on - so much so that I have to turn them off and I also adjusted the dawn to dusk sensitivity and activity zones several times over the past few weeks to see if that would help and it did not.

Can you try removing & re-adding the camera?

I did remove it and re-added it. It still does the same thing - continually going off and on. I even did it twice, then reduced the sensitivity - but that didn't fix it either.

I have the same problem. The light duration setting makes no difference, the light comes on when motion is detected but turns off after about 10 seconds. Doesn't matter what the duration setting is.

Tried calling, sorry chatting with, support (3 times) but no help at all. Would be really nice to speak to a human being.

How long is the camera set to record?  I suggest extending that.

Thanks for the suggestion. Where is that setting? I can’t find it anywhere.

Wow thank you. I think that helped. I had it set on keep going until activity ends but this seems to work better. Thank you.

I'm having the same problem that rob8 reported.  His issue was never resolved according to the thread, so I'm bumping the issue.

I have a Pro 3 with firmware 1.080.27.0_25_82bc6f2 and hardware H6.  It is paired to a Base Station with firmware 1.21.0.1_1420_7841d8d and hardware VMB5000r6.

I have a small fenced side yard where I wanted a light for the dogs when I let them out but there was no wired power for a typical light.  For this purpose, I didn't care about recordings or notifications, so I don't pay a subscription fee.

The Pro 3 camera is named "Fenced yard".  I have the base station set up with the following mode rule:  If Motion on Fenced yard - Motion is detected: Sensitivity 80 - Turn floodlight on: 120 seconds - no push notification or email alerts.  Set up like this, I could let the dogs out of the side door and they would have some light for a couple of minutes to do their thing.  I didn't need videos or notifications.  Worked fine for five months.  Then this started:  Click and the light comes on, then click and the light goes off, over and over until I take the battery out to stop it.  At this point, it seems to have been a waste of money, so I hope someone can answer what is wrong.

Have you tried deleting the mode and recreating it?
