Hi,
Why does the Pro 3 flood light battery last a week if lucky? Possibly the high traffic area? Is there anyway I can keep this powered for longer without the need for a hard line cable?
Thank you

High traffic causes excessive recordings which leads to excessive battery drain. Rotating the camera to eliminate the traffic while maintaining the view needed. Battery life is designed around <5 minutes of total recording and live viewing per day, on average.
A screenshot of the camera view could be useful for suggestions.

This is pretty much the camera view. Thanks for the reply its good info. I was looking at the solar panel maybe this will assist for a longer battery life.

Since detection of people is limited to ~25 feet, you could easily rotate the camera down. However, it would appear that the traffic is due to your animals and/or household residents. You'd have to decide what and when to record to make a real difference. Note that the solar panel is just a trickle charger which may help somewhat with battery life but AC power may be the ultimate solution.

I suggest pointing the camera a bit more downward if you can - reducing the amount of the scene over the fencing that is in the field of view.
While the motion detection range is spec'd at 20-25 feet, it will sometimes pick up motion from farther away. While not that likely in your particular case (normally the distant moving objects are vehicles), it still is worth a try.
Also, if you use audio detection, I suggest turning that off and see if that helps.
