Arlo pro3 flood light camera intermittent amber LED

I am having trouble charging the arlo pro3 floodlight camera.
Had the unit for about 5 months.
There is an intermittent amber LED light that gives a double flash every 30 seconds or so. Other than that, there are no signs of life.
Does anybody have any advice?

Are you using the microusb port inside the camera shell?  Or are you using the magnetic connector on the outside?

The magnetic connector is for the solar panel and the outdoor (9 volt) charger.  If you aren't using those, you need to charge from the microusb port.
