I have 3 Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight cams. The battery on one of them continues to die. I bought new batteries but it still dies within 72 hours. I changed everything to utilize the battery. It’s very frustrating.

If you swap the camera with one in a different spot, does the problem move with the camera? Or does it stay at the location?

I moved the cam from the backyard to the driveway, which is the camera's location that drains very fast.
Do you have any recommendations on the settings I should use?

I've never seen much difference between the three power management settings (best video, optimized, best battery life), so I just use "best video".
Managing the amount of video recording per day, and the usage of the floodlight is the most effective way to manage power use. So it would be good to have some idea of how many minutes of rrecording you get per day and per night - and if you turn on the floodlight manually at night, about how many minutes per night that is happening.
You'll need to temporarily disable any activity zones to figure this out, as activity zones just supress recordings and notifications - they don't reduce power usage.

If it's the location causing the batteries to drain quickly, you need to find a new spot for the camera that still gets you the coverage you need. The issue can be house construction as well as distance from the hub or router or even 2.4GHz interference from other wireless devices in the vicinity.

So how do I know how much video time it is recording?

Quickly, just look in the library and add up individual days' worth of recording. However, if you have the camera enabled in Smart, you may need to disable Smart for the camera so that all recordings are displayed (Smart can delete videos that are determined to not be according to your Smart settings).

it must be the camera. I changed locations and the driveway cam is at 94% and backyard cam is 68%. I will have to figure out how to hard wire the cam
