Hi there,

My ArloPro3 Floodlight has stopped lighting up when the camera senses any movement. No issues with it up until this time.

Floodlight does work when I turn on manually & camera is working well.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you getting motion recordings?

Hi Stephen, yes appears to be recording motion as expected, just doesn’t engage light.

Can you turn it on manually?

Also, check the mode, and make sure that "turn floodlight on" is enabled in the camera rule.

Yes I can turn the light on manually.

I have turned the dusk to Dawn sensor right up to bright sensitivity however still nothing.
Where do I find the Enable floodlight is on? On the mode it just states it is armed with the base station.
I have been through all the Floodlight device settings including the light settings but can’t find any mention of Enabling light.
Was fine upto a couple of days ago, appears very strange.
Should I remove device and attempt another restart?

Edit the mode (for instance Armed), and then edit the rule for the floodlight

Many thanks for your swift reply Stephen.

I followed your advice and found the editing of my floodlight which I never knew was there.

I edited it for the siren to come on (off beforehand) when motion was detected to which it did alas the lights when edited to come on did not, but still work when put on manually.

Thank you for your time but have you any other suggestions you can advise?

First I'd try removing and reinserting the battery (to reboot the camera).

If that fails, then try doing a factory reset of the camera.

As suggested I’ve removed battery and reinserted. No change.

I then removed device fully and re added following all instructions.

at each step of the reinstall the camera & light worked as expected but on completion I’m back at where I was initially - no light on motion detection, only when I set manually.

Did you try moving the dawn-to-dusk sensor the other way (setting it to full dark)?

Tried that, still no joy 😫

Is the camera still under warranty?

No unfortunately I’ve had it over 2 years.

it’s just really odd how it’s gone, didn’t know if I was missing something, probably have to keep on using it with the light manually🤷🏻‍♂️
