(I posted this originally in the Pro 3 cameras section but it is better discussed here in floodlights)

I have had the Arlo 3 Pro Floodlight with the official Arlo 25’ outdoor magnetic charging cable since it was released in 2029. Love it.  This is also the only floodlight device.

The problem is (only) in the past few months I noticed the floodlight would mysteriously and intermittently become disabled. I couldn’t figure out why. I even bought a brand new floodlight because I thought it might be failing. I deleted the old floodlight and added this new one.  Only late did I see the Arlo base device error message and realize it had to do were the outdoor charging cable. I bought a new cable and installed it yesterday. So now everything, except the mount, is new and replaced. I deleted the old floodlight device and created a new one in the Arlo app.

I still see the “the camera and light are disabled” error message in my Arlo app for the base device. I’ve restarted the base unit, floodlight, app, phone, etc. but it won’t go away. It’s too early to tell if my disabled floodlight issue goes away. Thoughts or suggestions?

I replaced the Arlo 25' outdoor magnetic charging cable (https://www.arlo.com/en-us/accessories/VMA5600C-100NAS.html) which has an attached 9v charger plug at the end.  The cable cannot be used with another charger plug because it has a fixed charger.  It's the same outdoor magnetic cable+charger I previously had with my floodlight.

I found this pic of the UK version of the magnetic charging cable with the fixed charger.  Mine is similar but with US 120V plug at the end.

Yes, I can livestream and there are motion recordings/events in my Feed.  Everything seems to be working correctly with the floodlight, except the persistent error message and indicator for the base device in Devices.

Update - Good news, I deleted my iPhone Arlo app and reinstalled.  This made the hub device's error message disappear.  Now that I've replaced my old magnetic charging cable, I haven't seen my Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight disabled itself anymore.

I noticed my the my.arlo.com website that the hub device didn't show the same error message as my iPhone app.  So I guessed the app had some leftover state from my old floodlight that didn't clear itself.  Deleting and reinstalling the app fixed its display.

Can you livestream the floodlight camera?

Are you getting any motion recordings in the "Feed"?

My floodlight hasn't yet disabled itself since I replaced the magnetic charging cable 2 days ago.  I didn't pay attention to how frequently it was disabling before, but it was at least every few days.
