I have concrete walls in my house. They are 6 inches thick. Can I assume that if my Ipad makes a connection in a particular place (including outside) that the Arlo pro 2 camera will connect too?
I am thinking about purchasing the Arlo 2 because a wifi connection seems better than something else (other than insteon dual band). Is that correct? (Don't like the insteon cameras)
thanks, K52

I would use a WiFi analyzer app to check for signal strength as you move around. Basically, if you can get adequate router signal at a location, you should also be able to get similar Arlo signal strength, assuming the base is next to the router. If not, use of a WiFi or powerline extender may be useful so you can position the base for the best signal to all cameras.
