Will Arlo camera mounted on second story, fence and gate pick detect motion?

Hi,

I currently have a Eufy 1080Hd system and am considering moving to Arlo. The reason is I have a Eufy camera mounted on my second story to gain visibility of the front yard, fence and gate but it barely picks anyone up.

Sometimes it will get someone crossing the line of sight horizontally but it really doesn't like directly at it.

Will this also be an issue with Arlo?

Eufy also doesn't offer 24/7 recording so if there is no motion detection nothing is recorded, useless!

I get similar performance with the pro 2 cameras. 25ft range.
Suggest you place the eufy in a location that gets the motion across the FOV.
