9 minutes and 38 seconds when I had an Arlo 2 Pro camera to record a wabbit digging a hole at the front door! 😮 Too bad it didn't record more since that punk wasn't done!
Thank you for reading and hopefully answering. 🙂

I just bought the VMS4120P, had no idea there was a diff model of the Pro 2.
Anyway, I just want to turn the camera on, and see my yard from within the app.
Why can't I do that?
I turned off motion detector because it was driving me crazy.
I would also like to save so that I can look at the prior days outside events.
I have a Tend camera, I'm thinking it's a better camera at this moment.

I can't answer your question. I just received my Arlo Pro 2 and I'm having buyer's remorse because they do not work correctly. I hooked mine to the base station but now it can't find the base station and they are 2 feet apart.
I will be returning .

I am returning this piece of junk.
Buy an Tend Insights camera instead. I was led to believe that Arlo was a better camera but let me tell you Tend is far superior.

To be honest, it sound like lack of usage/experience with the Arlo cameras...
You can do all of above.
The Live View is open app and click on camera
Motion detector is adjustable, tho placement is just as important
With the Pro2 you get 7 days free storage ( the round model , IIRC, does not have a usb mem backup port while the oval one does )
Morse is faster than texting!

HI @mohair3
Are your cameras appearing offline? What are the status light(s) displaying on the front of your base station?

It shows Add A Device. The camera disappeared and can't be located according to the app.
The base station is all green.

Is your phone or computer connected to the same network when trying to add the device? What version of the Arlo app are you using & what phone and OS is it running?
I have provided an article with the steps to add your camera to the base station.
How do I set up and sync my Arlo Pro or Pro 2 Wire-Free cameras?

I just downloaded the Arlo app from the play store, and i have the most current iphone iOS.
The thing is , it was working last night. I followed the directions, which were very simple, there's not much to this but the app has to find it which it is not doing.

44 seconds was the longest recording.
Now the error is:
Your camera is currently in use. Please wait ......You can also restart your camera.

Thank you Shayne for helping but I am returning the camera.
Tend has continuous recording for free plus the live screen is much larger than the Arlo Pro 2 and it works consistently.
