I have an Arlo Pro and an Arlo Pro 2. Because they are not diectly connected to power, many of the camera features do not work (select area, zoom, etc). I want to be able to customize/select an areas to be covered and I want to set the zoom to get a closer video.
What Arlo Camera and Base unit will allow that? Would Arlo Secure or Arlo Smart help with the existing equipment I have?
Thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

Pan and zoom works without a subscription. Activity zones require either AC power or a subscription.
Your choices now are simply Arlo Secure or Secure Plus - Smart subs have been blended into these. You can check out the differences in Settings, Subscription - the main difference is the highest resolution possible which has no effect since your cameras don't record that high.
Is it possible to add AC power to your cameras easily? If not, a subscription will be needed to get what you want.
